Steamed stinky tofu
13.7 x 13.7 cm|watercolor & colored pencil|2020|NT$2000

I love stinky tofu so much. The strange aroma of stinky tofu smells good for me. Besides, I feel steamed stinky tofu tastes even better than the fried one. What a great invention of food! This is my favorite steamed stinky tofu from a vegetarian restaurant near my house. I outlined it with dark green pencils, trying to present the freshness of vegetarian food with the soft texture of colored pencils; and used green to symbolize no meat. I then used watercolor to color the food, so that the focus is on the delicious protagonist. In the end, I used a white ballpoint pen to draw the glossy surface of the sauce. Although the illustration isn’t as smelly as the real tofu, the special delicacy can still be remembered just by looking at the picture.😋😝🤤
