英式下午茶｜English afternoon tea

這是在英國劍橋附近一個小鎮的道地英式下午茶。當時剛騎完一段路程不短的腳踏車，坐在岸邊看著天鵝悠游湖畔，品嚐著司康、胡蘿蔔蛋糕和三明治，啜飲著香醇的紅茶加鮮奶，邊欣賞自然景色，好不愜意！英式蛋糕不同於台灣蛋糕，質地偏硬，鋪上厚厚的糖霜，香甜而紮實。回想起來，都要流口水了呀！🤤🍰

This is an authentic English afternoon tea in a small town near Cambridge, England. At that time, I had just finished a long bicycle ride. I sat on the bank and watched the swans swim by the lake, tasted scones, carrot cakes and sandwiches, sipped mellow black tea and fresh milk, and enjoyed the natural scenery. What a pleasure! English cakes are different from Taiwanese cakes in that they are hard in texture and covered with thick icing, which is sweet and solid. Looking back, my mouth is watering! 🤤🍰
